We're just getting started: Our road map for 2016

2015 has been an exciting year and we'd like to extend a huge thanks to every one for your feedback and support during "Year One" of our next generation of apps!

We've successfully launched our new track planning app built from scratch with the goal of eventually becoming one of the best and most comprehensive model railroad track planning solutions out there. In order to get there we realized that we had to start with a solid foundation. Even though the first couple months have been a bumpy ride - as quite a few of you might agree - we're confident this has been the right way to go.

We also got to launch an entirely free app for creating small layouts - not just a time limited or trial version but a full-fledged app with virtually all the features of our flagship product.

In 2015 we've spent a fair amount of effort to catch up with our legacy app in terms of feature completeness while continuously improving the app with new functionality as well as refining the UI based on the great feedback we've received from you!

But we're just getting started.

For 2016 we have scheduled many awesome features like

• tunnel tracks,
• background images,
• fully localized libraries,
• built-in support for base boards.

Later this year we're looking forward to add community features like sharing layouts with other users, as well as browsing and discussing shared layouts directly from within the app.
Finally, we're also investigating the possibility of an iOS companion app for viewing layouts on iPads.
