RailModeller Pro 6.7: Predefined Baseboards and Extended Positioning
RailModeller Pro has been updated to version 6.7! This release adds predefined baseboards, the ability to print a defined area, and more ways to control the position of elements, along with other improvements. Highlights of this version include:
- Predefined Baseboards
This update adds baseboards from MR Benchwork and modellplan BPS, organized by shape and size. You can now also save any user-defined baseboard as template for future re-use. - Print Area
Define a rectangular section and print only this area instead of the entire drawing canvas. - Extended Positioning
You can now position track elements by any reference point or track joint, as well as position images and baseboards by any reference point. - Baseboard Improvements
Baseboards can now have labels, support adjustable height and different border styles, and can be aligned and distributed as a group.
Other improvements in this update include
- Refined rails, track bases, and lighting in 3D view for a more realistic appearance
- Imported images are now stored more efficiently, resulting in smaller layout files
- JMRI export improvements
- The user guide has been updated
RailModeller Pro 6.7 runs natively on Apple silicon Macs and Intel Macs and supports macOS Big Sur (11) or newer.
The update is available exclusively on the Mac App Store.
Existing installations of RailModeller Pro are updated automatically by the Software Update mechanism of macOS.
